Best class in 10 plus years so far. Doubt they end up #10 too, but hopefully can finish in the top 25.

It's almost like you forget the cycle under Ferentz...low expectations mean a good season is coming, high expectations means collapse/#FireKirk and regardless what the expectations are he'll lose a bowl game if he makes it. Maybe you're right, maybe he will stick and be the next Greg Garmon but if I'm a betting man I think he'll never end up in Iowa City

So was Gordon. So was Higdon. If Iowa loses it's Super Bowl or a couple games early on fans will get restless and will turn on Ferentz. Opposing coaches will jump all over that. It's not like Ferentz has had success with highly recruited RB's

Here let me explain it to you since you are obviously obtuse. A fake ID gets you into places you don't belong. Kind of like being at the top of the polls or in the Rose Bowl when you haven't played anyone.
At least you're realistic. Iowa and ISU will have to start reaching for some more under the radar type guys and Iowa will finish in the 20-25 range ISU will likely be in the 35-45 range. For ISU, grabbing one or two highly regarded guys could jump that a touch higher but at this point I'm not sure they'll find that in 2017. Essentially, Iowas two big recruits are the difference between the classes. ISU's, from a rating standpoint, looks very similar recent Iowa classes. Somewhere in that 83 range as an average.

When I was 19 I wanted to go to the bars with my friends, but I wasn't 21 obviously. To get into the bar, I was required to be two years older (like the law says). Then I got a fake ID and tried to use it at the door once, but the door guy spotted the expired date on the fake ID and told me to leave and go find a house party. I almost got in.
Iowa wanted to get into the college football playoff, but wasn't good enough obviously. To get into the college football playoff, they were required to actually beat a few good teams (like top 15 good). They didn't do that, the committee spotted the holes in Iowa's weak resume and told them to leave and go to the Rose Bowl where they'll actually play someone good. Iowa almost got in.
LOL at having to wait until 21 to get into bars. One advantage of us old fogies is we got in at 19 or even 18.
So did Melvin Gordon. Long way until signing day and Hawk fans will be calling for KF's head by October. If he does come he'll probably be the next Garmon.
