***Official 2016 Transfer Thread***

I believe Cornish would sit a year with two years left after that.
He would fit a need at guard once Naz, Monte, and Matty Ice all leave. However, wouldn't you think the staff would rather use a scholarship on a transfer big than Cornish? In a perfect world you could get both, but I don't see that happening.

Actually I think that's exactly what will happen. We will likely land Holden this weekend and then bring Cornish in soon too.

It's pretty easy to figure out how to get 2 more scholarships. Either Lard or Malou don't qualify and Ernst transfers.

Not that ISU is hurting for guard play, but a 6'5" transfer who can score with 3 years left is intriguing.

@jeffbrazillo UNC Asheville's Dylan Smith. Averaged 13.5 PPG as a freshman.

@JeffGoodmanESPN @jeffborzello @shift_smith10 Loved him in AAU. @rfree81900 pretty much had him coming to Charleston. Plenty of suitors coming ...

@JeffGoodmanESPN Talented freshman at UNC Asheville transferring. Saw Dylan Smith a couple summers ago. Talented and versatile.

We graduate 3 very good guards.

Sounds like he wants to move closer to Alabama.

Potential target still available.

@NYPost_Brazillo Source on Anthony Livingston/St John's: Both sides have "cooled" on potential match. Doesn't mean wont happen, but not likely. #sjubb

Hmmm...would sure love to know why both have "cooled". Doesn't he have a visit with WV, or am I thinking of someone else? Supposedly we contacted him, but not sure if we even made his interest list.

ISU had been associated with recently.

@JohnRothestein Duquesne transfer LG Gill told @CBSSports he will decide between Maryland and Marquette. No other visits set. Immediately eligible.

And and the decision has been made.

@JohnRothestein Duquesne transfer LG Gill has committed to Maryland, source told @CBSSports. Immediately eligible for next season. Big get for Terps.

UNLV transfer Jordan Cornish told @CBSSports he has cut his list to Butler, Iowa State, Grand Canyon, and Purdue. Will set visits soon.

Is he just going on vacation to the Grand Canyon, or is there an actual Division 1 basketball program there?
