Iowa game at Kinnick under the lights?

Tucker had better stats last year alone than Johnson has in his entire career but don't let that bias get in your way

ISU's rushing ypg should be compared pre vs post Mangino.

Ok compare Iowa states rushing yards against Iowa (60) to the rest of the schedule. How many times did they have less than 60 thanks in advance

That was Iowa's Super Bowl. Obviously you didn't watch the Rose Bowl and saw Johnson getting dominated while giving up over 200 yards rushing

The worst game the Iowa defense played all year and still held Stanford below their season average. By you avoiding my question I take it Iowa states least amount of rushing yards was in fact the Iowa game? Even with a weak link like johnson out there for the majority of the game

That wouldn't surprise me with the emphasis Ferentz puts on the game.

We can only go by stats according to cytwins if you haven't read the last couple pages. Why would it matter if tucker has more tfl loss if Iowa state is down and already allowed 200 yards on the ground?

You act like Tucker and Johnson have comparable stats or something. Johnson is going into his 5th year in the program for Iowa and has less sacks and TFL than Tucker had in one single season. Tucker is clearly the better college player

Umm any chance this was related to the fact that it was a 35-0 curb stomping at halftime?

Quoted wrong guy my mistake and by me saying Iowa state is down I mean down big

Tucker is a good player but those stats don't make him better than Johnson. Tucker probably has better stats than guys that were drafted early this past week

I will side with logic, draft scouts, and college football analyst

Because draft scouts determine who is a better college player now. Johnson has 4.5 sacks and 8 TFL in his ENTIRE CAREER and you're talking like he's an All American. That's logic at it's finest

Jaleel hasn't produced in his college career to this point. Those are facts.

You pick the weirdest fields to plant your flag. Strange. Jaleel's the #6 DT in the nation. I don't think he's 20 spots better than Tucker, like the analysts and pros who evaluate talent do, but he's clearly a lot better. Part of it's probably that Jaleel plays against so much better competition. You see the NFL draft results? Yikes. Something like 20+ more guys from the B1G drafted than the Big 12. Must be part of what the scouts/analysts look at when they rank Jaleel 20 spots higher than Tucker. I do like Tucker's motor though.

Link? I didn't know they ranked college football players. I've never even heard an analyst speak about Johnson, I mean he couldn't even make an All B1G team. I honestly didn't know Hawk fans thought he was so good, usually when a fan base overhypes a player they have some production or numbers to back it up so this is just odd
