Iowa game at Kinnick under the lights?

Both games will be on BTN, coverage will be split regionally.

I am assuming both would be available on BTN 2 Go then? I can probably get my hands on one of those log-ins, but I will be watching from ACC country so if BTN 2 Go is also split regionally I would probably be stuck with the UNC game.

Never used BTN 2 Go before so just curious

You'll be able to stream it from there, they'll have all games available.

Yeah who cares if he produced in college all that matters is his draft position

They're not going to list a guy as the 6th best at his position if he hasn't produced in college. It just takes a little deeper understanding of the game than you have. This is like last spring when you were saying JR was the better QB for Iowa to start because of his YPC stats and some other nonsense. You obviously were wrong then and you're wrong now. So many things happen out there at his position that aren't captured nice and neat on a stat sheet, like eating up space in the middle, altering the opponent's offensive game plans, keeping O-linemen off the LBs (who had a breakout year for us last season), etc. Iowa had a top-15 rush defense in the nation last year. Jaleel had something to do with that, which the NFL guys obviously understand. Which is why they rank him so high. I do think Tucker will end the season higher than his current spot at 26, he's got a motor.

So who's the next big get for ISU's 2017 football class?

The Iowa vs Iowa State game is going to get regional Big Ten Network coverage after being on ESPN and Fox (national network) the last two years.

Sad.

One team is more responsible for that than the other

In 2016 it doesn't matter as much what channel it's on. If you want to watch it you can. Even on your phone from the car or something

Yep. The Big10 TV contract is garbage.

B1G had more stud DTs last year that he would've had to contend with for all conference honors. Big 12 is pass-first conference, way more opportunities to rack up sack numbers than in the B1G.

B1G had 13 defensive linemen taken in the just-completed draft, next best conference had 6. So yeah, I'd feel comfortable saying it was a bit easier to make one of the conference teams on the d-line in the B12 this last year.

Jaleel hasn't produced in his college career to this point. Those are facts.

Would love to see the team defensive stats particularly rushing yards allowed. What is your explanation for why most teams struggle to run against Iowa?

Because those teams weren't good. Stanford was good and they had no problem running the ball

Iowa State wasn't very good either. We could have used Johnson for depth though

Iowa state had 60 yards rushing against Iowa I would imagine that's significantly below their average even if we just looked at the "good" teams Iowa state was playing

It wasn't because of Jaleel Johnson, aka the Invisible Man, if that's what you're implying.
