Tis windy here. And raining. Sooooooo I hope I can skip what I'm supposed to water tonight? It says it needs to be an inch of rain to count as "watering", but it's like really windy, cold, and rainy and I don't really want to go out with a hose.

Oh, got some good drama. Old college friend just broke up with his fiancee. When they started dating like 5 years ago he completely quit hanging out with any of our group of friends. Now he's messaging us one by one to see if anyone wants to hang out. Awkward, and he's already really awkward.

Ordered a gray Bones 2. Matches the car color don't ya know!

How do you keep the bike from swinging out? Do these crank down enough on top to control that? My old rack (which I pitched this winter) had issues with that.

The post and top bar straps do great on the bike, I use a green bungee cord (about 18") to wrap the front tire to the frame of the bike. Saris also sells a pull down strap for the front tire, I didn't know that when I ordered mine or I might have got that just for ease of use and to make the whole thing match.

Really? There was someone driving a minivan 100mph+ on 494 weaving through traffic last year. I think it had Minnesota plates. Compared to Illinois drivers, we're pretty safe.

Everybody moves on with their lives, but if it fit into my schedule I'd welcome him back. Good friends kind of back each other even if they haven't stayed in touch much IMO.

Does that happen to be the one down in Albert Lea, it's the last year for it due to declining attendance. 35 dollar entry fee for t-shirt and a meal I think.

Edit technically it's a 100 mile ride, but you can ride as far as you want.
