Iowa game at Kinnick under the lights?

I have heard it all now. The only reason ISU has annually had one of the toughest schedules in the nation is due to Iowa.

You just can't make this stuff up its so ridiculous.

I've been to Ames for a CyHawk game and I would rank it near the bottom of the several hundred tailgating experiences that I've had in my life.

This is a little bit like arguing about women. Some like fat girls, some skinny, some white, some dark-skinned...some even like dudes (NTTAWWT).

Hawkeye fans talking about tailgating is the definition of little man's disease. Just pat them on the head and say sure. Makes me laugh every time I hear their "arguments."

Would be fun, made a Hok friend tailgate in Ames last year, said I would go to IC, have not been since I was in college...
 
I just wish ISU had some close residential areas to tailgate in like Iowa. That 200 yards is just too far to walk. Can't make this stuff up.

I know #9 Iowa's SOS (52) was nine spots higher than #13 Baylor (61). Okie St.'s was 36, TCU's was 38, Northwestern's was 33, Michigan's was 45, Ohio St.'s was 60, and Wisco's 66.

Wow, aside from Oklahoma at 20, much closer than I'd thought. Thanks.

What was Iowa's regular season SOS? Wasn't it like 80 or something?

Trying to decipher this. Your presentation sucks. Is this the data?

20 OU
..33 NW
36 OkSU
38 TCU
..45 Mich
..52 UI
..60 tOSU
61 BU
..66 UW

If that is indeed the correct info that presentation will help people get something out of it.

No I was just pointing out Iowa's SOS before they got beat by mediocre Michigan State team and got pummeled by a talented McCaffery. You know, just like you did about Iowa's 12-0 record

Michigan St. finished #6. Hardly mediocre.

This was December 1. In other words, the big ten played extremely weak competition to get into bowl games that boosted their strength of schedule which was still much lower than the big 12 teams from top to bottom.

The local jh team was undefeated too. Good thing SOS doesn't matter.
