On to Football Season

KF bought himself at least a few more seasons with the 12-win, Rose Bowl, #9 finish year. And Farley won't be the guy when he does go. More likely Brian. I'm keeping an eye on how Bob Diaco does at UCONN. He'd probably end up being my pick.

I could think it'll either be Brian or Farley. Barta will go the Fran route and make sure to lock down the borders

He has offers from 4 SEC schools

Worthwhile comment. 4 is more than 3 but less than 5. Glad we had this discussion.

Kam White would be a stud but he won't end up at ISU just like Eno won't end up at Iowa. It is nice that both schools are leading the way right now for two 4 star recruits though

Leading the way is what a commitment is called now? What is the % of commits that decommit from a school and go elsewhere?

That's a good question, probably depends on the circumstances. The last three good RB recruits for Iowa either decommitted or transferred so maybe that will play a factor. Obviously Ross P knew he didn't want to get stuck in Iowa City for 4 years so he was a good recruit that decommitted. Ferentz being on the hot seat in December certainly won't help either.

When you're a program like Iowa State Football/Iowa Basketball you just have to take what you can get and hope it pans out

One of these is not like the other. Iowa bball has been in the NCAA Tourney three years in a row and won two NCAA tournament games. That is pretty respectable.

No, they lost in the play in game so did not actually make the NCAA Tournament. They were close though and Fran had them playing well down the stretch like usual

The year Iowa played in the first four games it was called the 1st round and the field was 68 teams.

The field has always been and will always be 64 teams. That's why they only seed 64 teams. Iowa did not have a seed the year they lost in the play in game, Tennessee ended up winning and getting it. Pretty simple stuff here

I guess ESPN is wrong then.

"I told our guys we've been through everything this season, keep your composure down the stretch," said Martin, who got his first NCAA tournament win in his third season at Tennessee. "Find ways to win the ball game."

They are wrong often. Martin did win two games in the NCAA tournament that year though, beat UMASS and Mercer before losing in the Sweet 16 to Michigan

From the NCAA.com website:

The ending will sting the Hawkeyes for a long time. They were struggling as they headed into their first NCAA tournament appearance since 2006.

Oh, dear dumb, dumb Hok fan. CyTwins is trolling you. Just trying to help ya out, but it is funny that you keep falling for such an obvious troll.

The NCAA is wrong more than they are right which is why everyone (including Drew Ott) dislike them. Iowa didn't have a seed so they weren't in the tournament. Doesn't get much easier to comprehend than that.

So just because he is often wrong he can hide behind trolling? And I'm the dumb one? This is like an alternate universe or something.
