I am wondering from those who have seen them live how their concerts were?

It has always been my dream concert and I'm curious if they are as awesome as they look in old concert footage.

Their last concert was in 1980. I'm going to guess 99% on here were either too young, or not even born, to have seen them. Unless some lucky SOB was at the Celebration Day concert in 2007. And yes, they probably were as awesome as they looked.

Well, does seeing Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers (The Firm) back in the mid '80's count for anything? Based on seeing about 25% I'd have to say, yeah, Zep would have been pretty flippin' awesome.

Page and Plant played at Hilton back in 1995 and I didn't go. What the hell was wrong with me??

How was The Firm? The first album was pretty classic. Deep drop off with the second, but I still throw them on occasionally

I had seen Bad Co before and knew Rodgers would hold up his end. Keep in mind 30 years have passed, but the thought of Page pulling out the bow and pointing it to the sky still makes my hair stand up just a little. Pretty good memories.

I saw Dred Zeppellin at Peoples back in 1994. Pretty epic show.

I had a buddy that i golf with that saw them in 79 or 80, he said it was one of the last concerts. he said it was the most amazing concert of all time. I was 2 at the time

i thought a couple years ago they did a concert in London? Rumors of a final tour but Plant wanted nothing to do with it.

Does Page and Plant count?

edit: I see that does count. So yes and awesome.

They were supposed to play in Minneapolis and some of us were talking about making the road trip up for the concert. Then Bonham died and the rest is history.

First and only time they played For Your Life live. Incredible, and those guys were in their 60s!

Bad artists copy, great artists steal. -Steve Jobs and a bunch of other folks

Meaning nothing is that original, and creativity is all about remixing what's been done before in interesting new ways :)

Fun Fact: listening to a talk show the other day, they said led zeppelin has been sued more times for stealing songs than any other (known) band including stairway to heaven.
