Pep rally? Where is going to be the hangout place for most Cyclone fans in Chicago?

Has anybody heard when and where the pep rally is going to be before the game Friday? Also, is there a local establishment that people are going to be hanging out at?b

Looks like WestEnd has a shuttle to the game. It says its a 15 min walk but is it a decent place to walk through on way to game?

You'll be fine walking to the stadium from WestEnd (or anywhere in that area) at that time of day. There will be a lot of people out and about walking to the United Center. But, the shuttle is pretty handy; especially as it also usually runs after the event and takes you back to the bar.

You'll be fine walking anywhere in the area around UC, especially because it's still broad daylight.
