Monté Morris will rest until Wednesday

Just curious. How many of you think Monte will actually be 'fine' by Thursday? I certainly have no clue, nor have any knowledge on shoulder strains. We do know Monte will fight thru any symptoms he may still have by then, he's the man. Just hope its not a coverup by not disclosing info for our opponents. I know...a waste of time to worry about it as a fan. Do like the fact he's getting rest.

It's pretty obvious Monte is having his arm amputated tomorrow.

I was encouraged when Georges scored five points after breaking his foot.
Exactly. Just because he hit his free throws doesn't mean everything is necessarily fine and dandy. When you are going through the adrenaline of the game you aren't as likely to feel it like the next day.

I don't like your analogy.
that was my point. Shoulder issues very so widely it's not worth worrying about. I had shoulder issues for years and now I'm 100%. It's nearly impossible to tell until we actually see him play. I had shoulder issues for years and now I'm 100%. It's nearly impossible to tell until we actually see him play again. He could be fine or we could be effed.

True. Hoping to hear more details and positive news from his check up though.

Are you doing the repeater by yourself?

I broke my collar bone and wrecked my rotator when I scored playing softball and catcher had jumped up and came down on top of my back, a little like Monte. Could not lift my arm up. Couple years and back to normal.

I somehow pinched something in my shoulder about a week ago. The next morning I could barely move that shoulder without sharp pain. Went to the DMOS urgent care clinic in West Des Moines and was diagnosed with "adhesive capsulitis" (aka, frozen shoulder). Doc gave me a steroid injection, the shoulder was much better within 24 hours. By the weekend my shoulder felt better than it had in quite a while.

Would Monte be able to receive a steroid injection when it's medically indicated? If so, I have a feeling he'll be good to go.
