The AP poll isn't used in the least for tournament selections or seeding. And using only the RPI as a metric is insane. They use multiple tools...but not polls.
Wonder if ESPN will run national stories about ISU having the better star player in the state and being the better team in the state. Wonder if Murph & Andy will cover that same topic with zest on their show?

Been saying this for months. 100% true. 5 of their best results were against teams missing a significant portion of their scoring. Are you kidding me. 3 of their games more than 50% of the oppositions' scoring was out or damaged.
Is there another fan base in the country that can go from "Our coach is COY" to "Fire the bum" any faster than HokNation?

Iowa has lost four of five, hasn't beaten a Big 10 team with a winning record in five weeks and got so fat on those Big 10 cupcakes they still could win the Big 10 title, or get a share of it. That's a sad basketball conference if I've ever seen one. That's not to mention Indiana, the team that already has a share of the Big 10 title locked up, is only a 4 seed.
A month ago they wanted to give him a contract extension. Most fair weather fanbase in all of college sports.
I hope Andy does a little comedy sketch about how overrated Iowa is and how ISU is the best team in the state. Then he can analyze their fans overhyped expectations like they are the only fans on the planet who do this.
Oh? That only goes exclusively in one direction? I'd been tuning into KXNO for their show for many years and turned it off for good a few months ago. Still catch CW's show a few days a week though.
Yeah, and they lost to Penn State and barely beat Minnesota at home before that didn't they? Dropped 4 spots after that. Pretty generous polling.
Accurate would have been dropping to about 12th last week and around 17-20 in this latest round.
Since they only went down to 8th (in spite of a 19th RPI), this week's drop is probably going to be stupid too.
