Possible huge snow storm next week?

Sounding like central Iowa will only get around 4-6 inches. The hype train has derailed!

It might not be the snow, but the wind.

The worst time I've ever had driving was a few years ago when it snowed maybe 1.5 inches, but the wind was bad enough that there was a blizzard warning.

I think I remember that storm. It was storm Fred.

Yeah that's more than 4-6 inches
With the sharp cutoffs seems possible to get a wide range. Someone's going to get nailed, but you wont have to go very far south from there to find someone getting very little at all. A slight southward track and we're back in the bullseye. Track more north and we barely get anything.

Fox News said 18-24 inches. So thats what Im going with because they are always right. Tuesday will be impossible to travel in Iowa.

I would be so excited if we got 18-24 inches! I could work from home the rest of the week. But since it's Fox News it will actually be 6-8 inches, and somehow any damage from the storm will be the fault of Obamacare.

I hope not, I have to push snow for work. It would be a ***** getting around in North Central Iowa with all that snow.
