College Gameday on Jan.30

Events like Kentucky @ Kansas don't happen very often. Games like ISU @ Texas A&M happen all the time.

Well, generally they're not all that rare. But having this game in the middle of the conference season is EXTREMELY rare.

Last I checked Kentucky/Kansas happens fairly regularly. I believe the last time it ended up with Kansas getting their **** tossed by roughly 30+ points.

Top 15 non con games happen all the time?

Yeah, all the time. Some big ones I watched this year alone:

Kentucky v Duke
Kansas v Mich St
Maryland v Carolina
OU v Villanova
Virginia v Villanova
WV v Virginia
Kentucky v Louisville

Plus there are a ton of schools like UCLA, Duke, UConn, Arizona, Gonzaga, Indiana, Michigan, that can perennially be in the top 15 that just might not be this year. Iowa v ISU right now might be a top 15.

I understand this instance is in January but good, blue blood schools do have good schedules. KU v UK will have gameday.

Not a true road game. That hasn't happened in a long time. I think 2006 was the last time UK was in AFH.

What stinks if UK @ KU does have Gameday, ISU @ KU is very unlikely to have Gameday then. If ISU was possibly playing for a share or clinch the tite, that game would be a no brainer for Gameday.

If GameDay isn't at Ames I don't care where it is.

I get that its KU\UK a blueblood matchup, but i mean another loss between now and then and Kentucky wont be ranked. ISU-TAMU is arguably the bigger game.

Why do you care if ISU doesn't get to be the visiting team in a College Game Day? Being the visiting team for College Game Day sucks. I'd venture to say that Game Day visiting teams lose at a higher rate than the average due to the additional buzz with the home team fans. It's probably better for ISU if it ISN'T Game Day.
