Escape Chambers

I did one in the Twin Cities, and I had a blast. It's dependent on the group of people that you are with, and how much you enjoy solving puzzles. Also if you are having a terrible time, just remember it's only an hour.

Save the money. I know a guy that will trap you in his basement for free

I did a sports collector one in DSM last year & had a good time. We kind of got paired up with another random group but still had fun, it'll be an even better time if you have a full group.

We did one about a month ago and we liked it. I think it really depends on the group you go with as well.

Only issue we had were with the combination locks, they frequently did not work when trying a combo even when correct so we lost time trying to move on to new combos. Wish they'd get a different style lock.

As for what to expect I'd say a lot of puzzles. Other than that I won't say anything because it's a lot more fun going in not knowing anything, trying to think about what the puzzles may be is half the fun too. (Think waking up in a locked room and not knowing how you got there)

But if you want to experience what it's sorta like online, I'd say google the game The Crimson Room.

It was def a good time and I would like to do it again, but their price was kinda expensive, especially compared to other cities. I'll be doing it again though if another Groupon comes out for it.

Ya that's the other thing I didn't like, if you don't have a full group you can get paired with randoms. The place in Omaha just charges a flat fee per room for your group, which also saves you ton of money if you have a larger group.

Although if they did a speciality round with all randoms, nobody knowing anyone, that could be a fun twist.

I had a blast. Had a couple people in my group slow us down though. Still resent my wife and daughter for their weakness that day.

That sounds awful

Have done both The Party Room and "All In" Casino room. Had a great time on both occasions and escaped the Casino. We feel we had the correct final code to get out of the Party Room but we believe they messed up. I think if you are going you should go with a group you know to fill the room. Working with strangers would be more difficult imo. Great time though

We did The Recruit room. Got the final door code with about 6 minutes left but couldn't figure that part out. It was a fun time tho. Would definitely like to do the other rooms (except for The Cellar maybe). Our game master was funny as ****.

That's the room we did too. Got out with 12 minutes left and a clue to spare.

Yah. We had 3 people in our group that were pretty much dead weight. Looking back I think our biggest downfall was getting into the second room too early and we missed something in the 1st half that was critical to solving the 2nd half. I imagine you know what I'm talking about.
