That would be hopefully baby tonight, but probably too much to ask on your first one.

If mom falls asleep, don't change the tv station. The nurses will yell at you and tell you what a bad partner you are for doing that. At least they did that to me. So I left and got lunch in the cafeteria. Watching a sleeping wife is not exciting.
All my labors, the only thing I got mad at my husband about was when he went and got McDonald's and ate it in the room. The grease smell made me want to hurl. Shouldn't be as bad if this was a planned induction, hopefully Mrs. no2 didn't have spaghetti for dinner.
Wife was was induced on first and 6-8 hours later nothing really happened except her getting tired and sleeping. She gave me the remote to sleep and when nurse got mad, I just ate lunch downstairs. Just waking up when i got back. 10 hours later c-section happened.
Just don't name it anything starting with "Cy", or Hoiball92 will be angry.

I highly applaud the not eating in the room thing. Good decision. Sense of smell was just crazy good during labor for some reason.
My OB didn't like the whole epidural thing, said it caused more c-sections, so I never had one. Not sure if that was true or if he was just a sadist.
Very exciting. Make sure to bring a sharpie. When the baby emerges, mark it secretly in a kind of a mark that only you could recognize and no baby snatcher can ever copy.
