They made the best bowl in college football, won more games this year than we have in four years. I'd take their results, I'm pretty sure were hoping this is what CMC brings to ISU
 
That's about as big of a no show as you'll ever see. Bet Colin Cowherd will have some good material for Monday

Sure but you know what...people will remember Iowa getting just curb stomped in Rose once again and I doubt many outside of Iowa fans remember hey Iowa went 12-2 vs a Laughable schedule. Tired of hearing how good the big ten is...3 of the top 4 big ten teams lost by 14 TDs in bowl games...14 TDs. Not only is that not even competitive but it's embarrassing. I give Iowa credit for beating the sub 500 teams like they should but this is what happens when u have to play real top 10 teams.

Since you're hoping away, why not hope for a national championship?
 
Everyone knows they were the 4th best team in their conference. A lofty goal for us but not deserving of a Rose
Bowl. Conference realignment has done interesting things to standings but it's not their fault.
 
Just think....we were only a couple of downs and a couple of yards away from having to watch this team in the CFP. Glad Michigan State kept them out.

Then again, maybe it would have been fun to watch Iowa get dominated and shut out by Bama in the CFP. Hmm.
 
Both the B12 and the B10 need to think about how they can consistently get their best couple of teams the best outcomes.

Everybody but Iowa fans and the committee. The committee is in the process of dreaming up excuses as to why Iowa was rated ahead of Stanford, or why Iowa was even in the top 10 for that matter.
 
Iowa did have a great season, won a lot of close games against not great teams, but they did win the games, you have to give them credit for that. Mccaffrey was just absolutely amazing today, and there is just no way to prepare for someone that talented. Hawks are lucky they only ran him a few times today, because he could have gone over 300 yard rushing with another half a dozen carries.

Clearly MSU and Iowa were not near as amazing as most everyone thought. Still would love to trade what ISU has done in the last 25 years for what Iowa did this year.
 
Have some class, yes they didn't play well, I think Stanford is pretty good. but don't make fun of them!!! They won more games in 1 month than we did all year!
