Buddy hits a three to open the scoring. Who would have guessed that might happen?

on ESPN2 for anyone else curious.
Good game so far back and forth free flowing 24-24 with 10 minutes left in the 1st.
It is remarkable how much OU's game resembles ISU. Offense and some spurts of defense with laxes. The B12 opener will high scoring and much like the games last year a must watch.

OU plays decent on the ball defense but it seems to take only one or two passes to get something wide open. They also hardly challenge the pass to the post.

I think the key is to keep your focus on defense and just playing your game on offense without trying to match their runs.

It's amazing the job Amaker has done at Harvard. They have a beastly recruiting class coming in next year and the return of their star PG who is out this year with a torn ACL.

Gotta root for a guy like that after he failed at Michigan.

Who wants OU to win or lose and why? I want them to lose so they will have 1 L before playing ISU

I want them to win for the conference and I think it'd be cool to have a chance at giving them their first L. But I dislike OU and I don't want them to get those awesome paddles ISU got when they won the same tournament. So go Harvard.

Agree with last sentence. I figure the next time a power 5 job comes up he would get an interview.

I'm hoping this is one of those years where ISU is safe enough to get a good tourney seed without being dependent on other conference teams' non conference performance. Will never root for KU no matter what. But OU? Don't really care whether they win or lose here.

I like to see the Big 12 win as many non-con games as possible.

That said, I won't shed tears if certain other Big 12 teams (mainly OU and KU) lose non-conference games.
