Anything strike you as odd about this picture?

I actually LOL at the "nobody's fouling" comment. That was way better than the question, cydsho.

But yes, this is close enough. To be precise, there are more members on Huggs' staff than scholarship players on his team.
It looks like managers are sitting down too

How would we know who's a scholarship player and who's not? Not to mention it looks like some of them are managers. Dumb thread

Sweet, what do I win?

I thought you were going to say one of the coaches had like six fingers or Huggins had two left feet or something.

"Nobody's fouling" was by far the best comment, albeit not what I saw. I watched them last night v. Marshall. Their guards had hands all over opposing players out front. I hope Big12 refs don't allow that this year with the rule changes which are intended to free-up movement.

This probably isn't what you were going for, but after examining...

There is a significant visual imbalance with the large Image, Scoreboard, and Logo/Lockup on back wall. Rule of thirds people. The Logo+"Mountaineer basketball" seems like it should be center aligned with the hoop, but hard to say when I can't see the entire wall at this angle. Every element on that wall drifts towards the back left corner. It looks... well... odd.

Came in to see something interesting about a photo. Left very disappointed.

NCAA says you can dress only 15 players. There are sixteen standing in the back row.

They have had only 12 actually play in a game.

I noticed this when looking at their stats. Nathan Adrian has fouled out for Huggy Bear already twice this season in 10 games. He has put the ball through the hoop 23 times (that includes FGs and FTs) but has 28 fouls on the season.

It's always been a little odd to me that the NCAA doesn't restrict how many can dress for football though. Some schools (Iowa State included) dress everyone on the roster for home games, sometimes upwards of 130 players. The visiting team can only travel around 70 (I think that's the number). Granted, most of those 71 - 130 guys won't see the field, but occasionally do when it's an utter blowout. Some schools let everyone on the roster be on the sidelines, but just in their jersey and sweats if they are not on the "travel squad" that spends the night before in the hotel.

This thread reminds me of this
