OK, guys, what's your take on why we haven't filled any more spots on Campbell's staff, especially offensive and defensive coordinators? Candidly, I'm surprised that some of our new commits would commit not knowing who their coordinators might be.

They are coaching Toledo's bowl game. I would imagine the recruits know who it'll be.

The coaching carousel isn't even over yet. Schools are still looking for head coaches. We got our HC early, and that gives us more time to hire the right assistants.

Well we already know who our DC is, and a lot of recruits commit because of their recruiter/school, so it's not really hurting us that we are a few coaches short... Just not helping yet.

I think he's already hired enough guys to get their limit of coaches out recruiting for now. The rest could just be Toledo coaches, but maybe Campbell is just waiting for the dead period to interview coordinators since recruiting isn't as important then.

Probably Scott Isphording...connections to Toledo. The other guy is a Solich man thru and thru.

Is there any evidence of this? I know the DC is Heacock but I'm surpised the person I know with some connections didnt tell me about the OC.

Ya go with what ya know. If they have all these Ohio relationships I would really hope they would lean on them. Or am I missing something?

Why should he? If there is talent in the mid-west and the players know him and trust him and want to play for him then get those kids. He should absolutely go where he and the rest of the staff can get the biggest bang for their buck and that would seem to be where they have historically recruited.
