As all rabid cyclone fans do( i am included in that category) we get passionate for our teams. Like a parent we scold our team, we cheer for our team, and we stand tall for our team! That being said I believe at times booing the officials or the other team is completely acceptable. I do have a question however, is there some credence to those who state that we fans boo to much? Perhaps leading to the old saying " crying wolf" and does that have the opposite effect intended when it comes to the officials. Stay passionate cyclones!

It annoys me slightly and yes ISU fans do boo more than most.

However I'm not going to lose a lot of sleep over it.

Hilton has been angrier since that KU game a few years back.

We boo a lot. I yell bad words, but I never boo. It's weird.

It does seem like it has grown from understandably expressing displeasure over obviously bad or missed calls to some fans booing 4 out of 5 calls that go against Iowa State. I sat next to a 20-something-year-old in Wells Fargo when we played McDingus/Creighton and for the first time ever, I was ready to jump up and publicly denounce the idiot as a Cyclone fan. EVERY single call or no call not benefiting ISU = boooooooooo! Embarrassing. And annoying.

But I do know that KU fans are the last ones who should ever call Hilton out for booing. KBooo.

Ever since we've had apology letter after apology letter handed to us, we have boo'd more than ever. I think there's a reason for that.

Of all the stupid **** to complain about.

We don't boo more than most other engaged fanbases.

Again sports are supposed to be fun.

This is 'merica. Boo if you want. Or in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Tinker case, wear an armband. I really don't care and I don't see why it's a big deal

Give me the passionate fans who sell out the stadium and maybe boo to much over the alternative a few hours east.
