OU would roll the hawkeyes

8-4 is more realistic. To summarize Iowa's schedule is pathetic and deserves to be criticized

Criticized? That's also part of what I don't get. Make fun of them when they lose - and they will - but not about who they've beaten. Like I said, let's hope they play boomer above and get blown out. Then you don't have to tell them their schedule was easy, you can tell them they got murdered by an actual good team.

If they played an actual schedule they would have a loss. Since they don't it's completely reasonable to criticize it

In this thread, maybe you see me defending my hate for an argument I hate. So if that's all you see, make that judgment all you want.

In any thread. I noticed your username awhile ago because it's always negative about ISU. You've done nothing but confirm that opinion of you anytime I've read a post of yours since then.

An easy thing for you to do is to click on my profile and read my posts. But whatever floats your boat. You can label as whatever you please.

Sagarin says 7-5

I have a hard time saying with certainty that Iowa would lose to OK State, TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma. They are good enough. They could win against those teams on a given day.

HOWEVER...They've showed me nothing to think they'd be 4-0 against that or even 3-1. In fact I'd say the odds of them being 4-0 against those teams are astronomically low. Doesn't even have to be a Big Ten vs Big 12 thing, they'd have incredibly low odds of going 4-0 against the PSU/OSU/MSU/Mich group of 4 they dodged.

Some Iowa fans can admit this and simply say they play who is on the schedule. Some cannot, and those are the turds.

From what I'm seeing... good chance.

In the last few weeks, Baylor hasn't been that good, and hasn't been the circus act they were in '13 and '14.

Would Iowa handle the uptempo situation very well? Nebraska broke them down a bit last week, and they're not as efficient at getting plays off as quickly as someone like Baylor. Would be interesting.

Most of the best offenses in the country would suck if they went to 3rd or 4th string QBs. TCU took a huge hit losing Doctson and having Boykin banged up as well.

I do think OU is the best team straight up in the conference, but they got a little help in that the other teams took on some key injuries, TCU also with all the early year defense injuries.

Yep. I'm just saying I don't think Baylor has been as strong this year in general. TCU had some ISU-like luck with their injuries.

When OU is as good as they can be, they're amazing to watch. But they almost ALWAYS have a game like Texas where they look like they can't even tie their own shoes.

You do understand that Baylor's 1st 3 QB's are all out with injuries, right? They are playing a WR at QB.

Yep, and even though they are surrounded by elite playmakers, they are losing to a bad Texas team.

Besides, isn't Baylor a rushing team first and foremost?

Do you realize where Iowa would be without Beathard? He's been the whole difference between last year's Iowa team and this years. Everything else is the same basically.

You mean CJ Beathard, the Iowa QB who hasn't been fully healthy 2/3 of the season after a groin injury? And if you really think CJ is the only difference between last year's Iowa team and this year's "basically", then you must not have watch many of the games, or linebacker play specifically.
