He was the antithesis of "All In". He coach Georgia at the same time as Iowa State, then Cornell at the same time as Iowa State, then Carlisle at the same time as Iowa State.

Just tongue in cheek, but it is interesting to think about what might have been if he had been at ISC only during those years and maybe stayed on a little longer rather than moving on.

Clearly used ISU as a stepping stone and had one foot out the door the whole time.

IMO, Iowa is already full of commits in all likelihood and have a policy of once offered and it is accepted that they honor the scholarship. And evidently they feel they have enough OT's on the roster already.

Iowa is still recruiting Alaric Jackson at OT heavily. They just don't like Foster for some reason.
 
The new recruiting tactic will add some intrigue with more head-to-head battles for recruits with the Hawks. We really didn't have those other than in-state guys before.
 
For once in my life I actually have some inside info so figured I'd share...know the Fosters fairly well and there's a solid shot Sean pledges to the clones. But since he just reopened his recruitment, he's going to carefully reassess every school but I will say the clones are in good shape.

You're supposed to start a new thread and vaguely insinuate that you're "in the know" about some of our recruits and that they have some "strong opinions" about ISU and the new staff. Then bask in copious amounts of glorious attention as everyone tries to whittle the information out of you.

I think the kid looks like a good get but when you look at the schools interested in him, he has some good programs interested but most of of his offers are from middle of the road(at best) programs. It looks like most of the bigger successful programs don't like him either. It could be that he's a fallback guy for some programs, who knows. It is unusual to see that obvious of a difference between the type of schools who have offered a recruit of this caliber.

Thanks for the information. Would be great to get him on board and an excellent start for the new coaching staff.
