4 star offensive lineman offered

If Iowa ever offers this kid while uncommitted, he's guaranteed to be a Hawk. For some reason they refuse to offer him though. Could be higher targets left on their board or they don't think he's as good as the 4 star rating, but who knows!

Yup... Reading hawk boards and they said his dad was a hawk.

Fair point. But even if they don't land some of the high profile recruits right away I still love the willingness to chase some big fish for a change.

This is the best part about a new coach, the recruiting energy changes immediately. CPR had fallen hard in to the "We're just ISU we can't do anything against this competition" mode.

A lot of Iowa fans want Kirk to offer him but it's not going to happen. They've had him in for camps and they don't think he's worthy of an offer. Iowa fans want him due to his star status/he's a legacy and huge hawk fan. The staff has something about him they don't like but I have no idea what it is.

If he has that legacy star status it could be his attitude. How many times have you seen a guy that knew how big his dad was and thought that earned him something...don't know the situation, but that wouldn't be my last guess about why iowa hasn't offered

It'll be more impressive if Campbell actually lands him, but I love the aggression either way. I know the bar is set pretty low and the real results will be on the field, but Campbell is winning the fanbase over very quickly.

I get what you're saying, and I agree to an extent, but I don't think most of the fanbase pays any kind of attention whatsoever to recruiting.

Iowa has 24 commits already. They have offered only 2 OL and those 2 linemen are in state and are both Offensive guards.

IMO, Iowa is already full of commits in all likelihood and have a policy of once offered and it is accepted that they honor the scholarship. And evidently they feel they have enough OT's on the roster already.

That's not true at all. they have two OTs with offers who have yet to commit. Farniok and Alaric Jackson. They are going to still get a couple more commits. Also it doesn't appear they are interested in Foster.

Yep, he was going to the excuse bin bigtime.
