Potential transfers (Rohach to transfer)

He will always be a Cyclone then, no matter where he plays next year. Good luck Grant, thanks for giving us what you have.

Nebraska could really use an immediately eligible QB.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't Grant a great student? I thought I saw he was going to med school. Maybe UNMC is a choice for med school.

Heck, given how desperate Nebraska is to be good at football, they would definitely let even the worst of students in if it meant it could help their football team.

The Nebraska medical school is in Omaha. Nebraska definitely needs a QB. The problem would be with the daily commute, med school, and the time spent with football.

I was at that ISU @ WVU two years ago.

What a cripple fight, but that's what made it so fun.

WVU crushed us, then we crushed them, both sides tried to give it way.

Somehow won it on a huge defensive stand in OT down at the ISU visitor section. Yay!

Grant did better again the B12 than Sam ever did, in fairness...

Combine that with watching the "Kick Six" on my phone in the Iron Bowl, what a day.

Good luck to him wherever he's going. I always thought he was kind of an odd fit at ISU. He was labeled a pro style QB coming out of high school and he spent four years as a square peg in a round hole in a spread/jet/WTF are we doing?! offensive scheme. I hope he goes somewhere that can utilize his abilities better.

Re: Potential transfers

Wasn't he suspended at the beginning of the season? After that, I think he split time with Charlie Brewer who is supposed to be pretty good. As far as I know, Delira played the majority of the time after coming back from suspension. Not saying he will turn out to be good or bad for us or anyone else if he decides to leave. Just wanted to clarify since your comment makes it sound like he's a total scrub.
He isn't a total scrub. He just doesn't fit the offense.

Even better, Nebraska is all about history ;)

Grant was very active on sidelines this year knowing that he wouldn't play a down. he seemed to have great attitude and could see him getting into coaching after his playing days are over

Best of luck to him. I've had a couple classes with the him, and he's an excellent student and a really nice guy. He'll be able to find an excellent career outside of sports someday.

Edit: Also, Grant is a history major, so the med school rumor on here is not true.
