also, the Russian sailor thread makes me feel good. Like hey, at least I didn't crash a ship into a country while drunk.

also, I can handle my rum better than a Russian.

whiskey (seriously, I did shots of whiskey?! WTF!) is another story

Not that I recall. Most of your posts were about the games you were playing and how fun shots were. And one post about your dishwasher.

yeah, did that person get that figured out? We like our dishwasher.

I don't think I ever called shots fun, just stating that I had to do more because my cards kept losing because people were whores.

I think it was McTall that was asking. And if that's the case, I'm sure his government program already had made him fully aware of what kind of dishwasher you have.

DH turned on our tree lights the other day and I made him turn them off. He said they looked really pretty when he drove by at dark though.

My neighbor has had his outside Christmas lights on for a little over a week now. Let's enjoy one holiday before we skip ahead to the next.

I had some on last night - just long enough to make sure they work after I hung them. I won't be able to hang them the weekend after Thanksgiving so I am getting them up now so they are ready to go but they don't get turned on until after Thanksgiving, usually not until Sunday night at the earliest. Advent doesn't start until Sunday.

No, I still haven't figured out which dishwasher to go with, or if I am even going to get one.

I watched the first half of the football game Saturday then went to Little Cooler's soccer game. I watched the travesty unfold on my phone. I decided to steer clear of here after that. A co-worker of mine told me that Rhoads was fired so I had to hop back on.

Instead of perusing the football threads I decided to catch up on the weekend in here. I was not disappointed.

Update... 100 replies now and it is bogged down enough they are coming in nearly 3 hours after they were sent.

We had one of those a few years back sent out to the full project management community nation-wide. People kept doing "reply all" to request being taken off the distribution. It was so bad that a full-bird colonel at our headquarters in the chief's office weighed in threatening disciplinary action against the next person that hit reply-all. I should have saved his email, it was classic. The replies stopped after that.

Agreed. Some of the vitriol must have been satisfied by Paul's firing and many of the most vicious posters seem to be letting him go without a ton of personal attacks.

The dumbest stuff I have read is the predictions of dire consequences that will follow because of this termination. Most of that is from three goofballs but they keep repeating it in multiple threads.

I tend to give coaches a pretty long leash and said that if he got to 5 wins this year (depending on seeing a team that was tracking up) he shouldn't be fired. But even I was not surprised nor really upset with the firing. I was only disappointed that it became necessary.

Those guys are deluded.

I am pretty excited for Christmas this year. It will be our fourth Christmas as a married couple and the first one that we will actually spend in our own house. Not to mention LittleWx will love all the wrapping paper.

Our house in KS had a lot more roof space to put lights up (we just do simple plain white lights) so it will be interesting how much extra we have. The one thing I can't stand is how my wife loves all those stupid Hallmark movies. Thankfully we no longer have Hallmark so she is stuck with the ones that are on Netflix and not a never ending stream of the same movie in different plots.

Here is a movie for the Mrs.:

Not sure if my reply made any sense but my Father-in-law does have one for sale. Right now it is $100 and it is in Elk River. It's not new but I think it is in good shape. You'd have to install it. That frightens me.
