Thoughts? I have heard conflicting feedback. Our guys were consistently decimated by non-contact injuries, and with our lack of depth you can't have that.

Ultimately the new coach will have final say.

I'm sure the new HC will hire his own head strength coach who will then select his own S/C staff. Rhoads did not retain Matt McGettigan, who wanted to stay on after Mac was fired.

As long as the treadmills leave.

Did McKnight pack them on his flight to Houston? Did the plane take off from the treadmill?

** Treadmills----emphasis of last strength coach....and produced no meaningful W/L improvement. Actually reversed
~ Why let a transitional person (a strength coach) have so much influence on design and equipment of a multi-million dollar facility?
~ Ditto for a head coach like Rhoads. See above.

** Weight facility. The "Lunch Pail" mantra and design omitted a player's lounge. This hard hat approach produced 8 wins in THREE YEARS
~ Build a frickin LOUNGE. Players love amenities. Builds camaraderie, bonding... Every other rival has one

Agree on the treadmills comment. I will say McKnight to his credit did a heck of a job designing that facility however was not aware there's no lounge area. Whether we like it or not, that is a recruiting tool.
