After the last few losses, people have seemed to be fairly reasonable. Im guessing that wasn't the case after yesterday's debacle though?
The call in show was terrible, there was a Hok fan that called in saying that we should keep CPR. You could tell he wasn't a Iowa state fan. He even claimed we were two years away from a national championship and burst out laughing.
Logged into Twitter and this is the first thing I saw.

Only Iowa state would have the publisher of one of its biggest fan sites TAKE A VACATION during one of the 12 days of the year they have a football game. Even worse, he didn't even watch the game!
That is just an embarrassment in so many ways.
lol, give Chris some credit man he works his butt off. Fanatic, ISU women's bball, 1460, podcasts. The list goes on and on. All with a very young daughter.
I actually think this is a good point. Can you imagine the UT site publisher going on vacation during a FB game weekend?
If they take a knee on that series and win, is Rhoads still coach? If CW isn't on vacation, do we pull out a win in the Little Apple? Where's the $$$ coming from for the buyout?

The vacation joke was funny until he started claiming he was on vacation after literally everything that happens.
If this were a pay site, then there would be reason to complain. Since it's not, CW should be free to take vacation whenever he likes. That said, farmers know not to book a vacation during October, November, April and May. People who run college sports sites should probably not plan a vacation from September through November...minus the bye week. That and at least the conference portion of the MBB season.
Quite honestly the 11th week of football season hasn't had much meaning for ISU for quite a while. As good a time as any to take a vacation. I long for the day when we are playing meaningful football in November.
Exactly, and it's not a pay site. They have enough others to help cover things for a couple days. I guess I just don't see what Chris failed to provide us with by being gone?
