My oldest boy and I went to the game yesterday. Hopefully, we can look back and laugh a little about the most embarrassing letdown (after this mess is cleaned up.) I enjoyed traveling with my smart 8 yr old who sounds just like me, complaining about most everything in the 2nd half... :biggrin:

I could list my observations after my first trip to BSFS, but won't - we are in the middle of a meltdown! I will say that, in that sea of purple, K-State fans are a lot like us. We were welcomed and had nice chats with their fans. Even had a few, "Drive home safe, thanks for coming," on our way out. Other than the outcome, it was a good trip.

Honestly, I have come to peace with it fairly quickly. I hate the fact that once again, ISU makes Bill Snyder look like a genius by failing to make just one of several plays that would have ended a losing streak. Other than that the team and coaches had already P$ssed away everything else worth playing for in prior games. A change has to be made. Might as well do it now while there is still enough talent for the next guy to win.

Love him or Hate him but Snyder is thee Coach of the Century for turning around the worst football program in the country.......

The sooner you realize that God and the NCAA hate ISU's AD the better off you'll be.

Short of Jesus or Urban Meyer coaching us I doubt things are going to make dramatic changes.

IF Global Warming was real...we might be better off in 2000 years when the S part of the country was no longer bearable. None of us will live to see that.

Yesterday's finish was SO bad that the NCAA really should launch an investigation into ISU's players and coaches to see if they threw that game on purpose? That's how bad it was.

It literally looked like we threw that game. Nobody fumbles 3 times in the final 4 drives and the last one coming with about 10 secs left to set the opposing team up with a winning FG attempt. I've never seen anything like it. Much worse than the 5 fumble Rose Bowl by Ronnie Harmon for Iowa back in the day.
