Flip over to the K STATE message boards, and you will see that K State fans indicate that the KSU players have "given up" on Coach Synder.

From what I see on the field, Iowa State players have not given up on Coach Rhoads. Our fans have, however, if I had to choose rather the players give up on a coach or the fans do I pick the fans.... I see a win in Manhatten.. Negative fans stay home.

ehhh fans don't know Jack...KSU fans are clueless.

They haven't given up, they've competed pretty hard in each game but it's hard to win with a lack of speed and talent. Reminds me of the end of the Hayden Fry era

"Given up" seems like a stretch. Other than the OU game, KSU has competed with every team in the conference. They're 0-6 but those have all come against the 6 teams ahead of them in the standings. They lost by 2 in Stillwater and by 7 in Manhattan to TCU and Baylor. They still have ISU, KU, and WVU left on the schedule.

KSU will view this game as maybe their best left chance to give Snyder a win.

From ISU's perspective, if there was ever a year to break KSU's momentum in the all-time series and pick up a win over Bill, it would be this year.

Still have KU left on the schedule and they will see ISU as their best chance to give Snyder a win? Best chance this week, maybe.

Thanks for that information

Wish we had them at JTS. We have had great road wins in the past, but this year just feels like we are playing much better at home than on the road.

I was flipping through the channels last night and saw the bill snyder show, i watched for a bit. he made a couple of comments that made me smile.
1. about playing tech, he said well they are good players but when you dont tackle that makes them look even better.
2. we play iowa state next week and their young kids have gotten better, our young kids need to do the same.
as much as i dislike kstate, snyder is a classy guy and a damn good coach!

I saw some fans on twitter ******** about the game plan not being very good. I think the fans are a little spoiled.

I like the way that our team was able to compete (& almost pull out a victory) against the Cowboys. That said, unless KSU's starting QB succumbs to an injury, I don't think we beat the Wizard of the 'Lil Apple. And, for as much as I hate the Wildcats, that is a hard thing for me to say. I hope our boys prove me wrong!

K-State's not firing Snyder. Check out the name of the stadium. Anyone past the age of 50 remembers when K-State (and Northwestern) were the two worst D-1 programs and by a wide margin. Snyder has done the best job of turning around and sustaining a program in my lifetime. And his boss at one time did a pretty good job in Iowa City but it was not at the point of K-State's futility. Snyder will determine when he has had enough and it would not surprise me if he hangs it up this year, even if he has to go out with a down year so to speak.
