Ok, don't want a bunch of whiners in here complaining about talking about 2016 right now, if you don't want to post about it, then don't.

2016 Schedule: vs. UNI, @ Iowa, vs. SJSU, 5 home 4 away Big 12 games.

Players coming back with solid experience (IMO from most important to least):

Offense (QB 1, RB 2, WR 5, OL 3):

Warren
Lazard
Burton
Campos & Philbert
Lanning
Ryen
Montgomery
Thomas
Daley
Wesley

Defense (6 DL, 8 LB, 4 DB):

Tucker
KCM
Peavy
Wiltz
Harris
Jones
Harvey
Peters
J. Thomas
Waggoner
Leath
Aka
Tribune
Northrup
Knott
White
Mills
Seeley

--> Look at how much experience we will have back on defense! If you don't think Paul Rhoads will get another year you are crazy. He WILL be back - like it or not. Next year he will be coaching for his job.

--> We will need players on the offensive line to step up (ie Scoggins, Bryan Larson, Nick Severs, Jacob Dunning, Shawn Curtis and hopefully a few JUCOS).

--> We have alot of players waiting in the wings that 'could' make a positive impact next year:

DB Mike Johnson
DB DeMonte Ruth
DE/LB Seth Nerness
WR Carson Epps
WR Hakeem Butler
TE Justin Chandler
LB Sam Seonbuchner
DL Josh Coleman
OL Bryce Meeker
LB Bobby McMillen

I DONT SEE LB JUSTIN MADISON ON THE ROSTER, ANYONE KNOW WHY?

I HAD HIGH HOPES FOR HIM.

I am going to bet we make a bowl next year and possibly win 7 games. It will depend on our OL and Lanning being efficient in the run/pass game. Our defense will be one of the best in the Big 12 next year - book it! (barring health).

I see about 4 wins next year. KU, KSU, UNI, SJSU. Maybe an upset somewhere for a 4th.

Sounds about right.

Iowa - should be top 5 going into the year, they're a legit title contender again
Baylor - we'll get blinded by their chrome helmets and lose by 40
Oklahoma - never beat these guys
Texas - we'll be up 14 with 5 minutes left and get hosed by the officials
Tex Tech - we try to pass the whole game and can't keep up
WVU - couch fire
OK State - ball hits the ground and we lose
TCU - should be down next year

Iowa - Road team always wins :jimlad: (kind of)

If Rhoads returns, he'll be possibly the first coach in history to win 2 or 3 games for 4 consecutive years.

Ignorance is just ignorant. He's not even the first coach in ISU history to do that. Criner had 4 years in a row where the high mark was four wins and his last year was zero wins.

But to your and isuforlife's ignorance directly, Dan McCarney already set that record in his first four years as head coach.

Fixed it. Belichick and Brady so happy we're not on their sked.

Way to see the tree and miss the forest. I guess I left out a phrase.
Nobody drops like this in the middle of their tenure and gets out of that hole. The guys you mentioned did their failure early on, or in DMac's case, when they were building up from a winless program.

Good job, there. Ignorant, arrogant, and very special indeed.

Will beat UNI, SJSU, KU.

Could beat KSU, Tech, WVU, @ Texas.

Probably 4-8, maybe 5-7.

A solid chunk of Cyclone Fanatic will ask Pollard to give Rhoads an extension.

Thank you for adding the missing phrase, as highlighted above.

You left out my post was accurate.

And the added phrase might be a projection.

The persistently outraged on this site remind me of the Borg: "Resistance is futile. We will have our way and Fire coaches." You believe by constantly repeating your mantra "Fire, Fire!" it will come to pass and sunshine and puppies and kittens and wins will fall from the skies like you so know they will.

And the last time ISU fired a coach and went for a spashy hire? Can you say hello Mr. firmly entrenched?

Meh.
