Who is ready for more Wx family drama? Long story short I have a couple of tickets possibly passes to the football facilities for Saturday. My wife asked her mom if anyone would want to go with me and her mom said that my wife's brother would go. Apparently it didn't go over well when my wife responded with "Wx wouldn't want to go with him. He annoys us."

I'm ready!

ordered new ear buds. On sale for like $5. Decided I liked Arob's approach and got the $5 protection plan. $10 isn't bad to mostly guarantee these last for two years. Could get a different kind, but these are really comfy in my ears. Previous pair lasted like four years. Using a pair that came with my phone and they aren't bad - music quality is nice, but they are a little big for me ears.

No no, this will be my third pair. First pair of this style lasted from like Aug 2010 - last fall sometime. 2nd pair lasted until yesterday.......so about a year. I think it was my water bottle that did something so if I had gotten the plan last fall, I'd be getting a free replacement today.

DH will probably make a face at me for buying a protection plan (we never do that stuff), but I liked Arob's thinking. And I know that with running, I can be a little harder on the wires than some.
