Well the airbags did not deploy but the front bumper is off and the hood is bent some.
I was going to say wxman better prepare for the endless jokes since DH's was at least on a snowy, slick road. Wxman's was in a parking lot.

Knocked my water bottle over on them this morning (no water, just the weight), and the little thing popped out of one of the buds so I'm wondering if that f-ed it up. Looked at it though and all the wires look well-attached still.

There are some really good covers out there. However, some on that list left me shaking my head. Sorry Mumford, I'm a fan, but "The Boxer" is one of my favorite songs. Also, "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman needs her voice to bring out the pain.
I feel a little dumb that I didn't realize that Led Zep's Dazed and Confused was a cover. Not overly surprised, just didn't know.

As for Lady Marmalade, oh HELLS NO. But that may be just my general dislike of Xtina and her "girls"...and I'm not talking about the other singers there...
One cover I preferred to the original was "Don't Want to Close My Eyes". I thought Steven Tyler waaaay over-sang a beautiful song. I much prefer the Mark Chesnutt version. Yes, he's country. But he did a great job on this song.
I'll need to listen to more. I just listened to the such great heights cover and I don't like it nearly as much, but I also love that song and you can't really hear the words in the version they have.
I think Xtina comes across as a snotty brat most times, but I do like that version (as well as the original) and as much as I dislike her attitude I can't deny her talent.
I can. I intensely dislike her "vocal stylings". Some deviation from the printed notes is fine. She takes off on riffs like a po'd cat on a fence...and she has never met a consonant that she likes.
It's more than her attitude and personality. I disliked her music before I saw her.
The attitude & personality are justification.
