Figured I'd only make it to one game this year, so I just stubhubbed myself a ticket for the ISU/Oklahoma game in January. They really nail you on the fees with stubhub, jeesh.

Tell me about it. I just bought my sister's Christmas present, and mine I guess. Two tickets to a Badger game in a few weeks. First row, right behind the Badger's bench. $27 fee for a $150 ticket. That comes to 18%.

Well missed the ladies opener. I'll catch the men tomorrow. Went to nieces musical tonight both did really well. It is fun watching them perform, I wish I had 10% of their talent.

My fee was $15.93 on a $79 ticket....over 20%. I've sold concert tickets on stubhub before, I know they get you going the other direction, too.

This article explains things. They just started adding on fees again in September. I knew something had changed because the price listed on baseball tickets this year was what I paid.

George Will was at his literary best today. I am talking writing and not ideology. Keep in mind I fought against the Nationalists in the Spanish Civil War and am rarely going to agree with Will but always check him out as a thesaurus exercise. I did happen to agree with him today but wanted to share his word gems of the day:
