I'll believe Rubio has a jumper when he has about a half season stretch of solid shooting, if he does though, it makes him such a better player. Think LaVine is ever going to be a capable pg? It makes sense to let him handle the ball as much as possible this year as winning games is probably not their top priority this year, as developing the young guys should be their main concern.
Like everyone else, I love LaVine's athleticism. But he's so raw, even after one year in the league. The Wolves need to decide if he's a point guard or shooting guard, because he's going to need a ton of reps at one or the other just to develop into a good NBA player.
I would give him every opportunity to develop, or fail, at pg this year. It's really the perfect time for it, if it doesn't work out, all the experience he has had as a primary ball handler will benefit him as a secondary ball handler at the two. If it costs you some wins that year, well I don't really think that's a bad thing. If Towns is as legit as he's looked through the absurdly small sample size thus far, their timetable to compete in the West just got moved up a year or two. Grab one more high lottery pick, with tons of cap space to fill out the roster with solid veteran roll players and you can push for the eighth spot in 16-17 and then seriously compete starting the following year.
I agree. I think if he has a future in the league it's at the point. Problem is that Rubio is in the first year of a four year extension and he's been playing really well. So if LaVine needs heavy reps at the position, then what to do with Rubio?
Fred and Bulls give charlotte their first win and give up 130 points in regulation. JFC Fred.

That team has some talent. I think they made a horrible move hiring Scott.Lakers move to 0-4, no doubt a playoff team for sure.
Andre Drummond is a beast.
