Dear America - Iowa Doesn't Care What You Think

Week 4 of the AP poll has both Texas Tech and Minnesota receiving votes.

Edit
That same pole also has West Virginia and K State receiving votes as well.
Maybe you misinterpreted the stat you saw.

"TCU, Baylor, and Oklahoma St. have not beaten a team receiving votes in AP or coaches poll this season."

Don't think there was misinterpretation. Looks like it was just wrong. It was on BTN, so...

Colin Cowherd, "I'll tell you the team I'm not going to give a vote to, and I don't care if they go 28 and oh, is Iowa." #Hawkeyes

Cowherd: "Some of these programs are just afraid to play real games and real teams. Iowa is one of them. So I don't care what Iowa does" 1/2

Cowherd"I refuse to support undefeated teams who know conference schedules are weak and don't do anything about it.It's weak.Forget Iowa"2/2

And I'm guessing this is from the same segment where Bruce Feldman was on taking about how he'd have Iowa in his cfp.

So I'll see your anti Iowa quotes and raise you an Iowa cfp prediction.

This can't be right. ESPN shows Iowa's sos is on par with Baylor and Ohio state, and above TCU. And that's including remaining sos???

Not sure your reading is up to par. Of the power conference undefeateds Iowa is dead last in remaining SOS and overall SOS.

Ohio State also gets hammered for their schedule because they also play in the big 10, but they get credit for being stocked full of blue chips and being reigning national champions.

Baylor's averages out to be 5 spots above Iowa, but only because their non con is so atrocious. Their much higher remaining SOS is what will tell us if Baylor is legit without their starting QB.

So what you're saying is, we don't actually know if Baylor and TCU are all that great because they have beaten nobody?

Or what's your point? That Iowa going undefeated with a similar sos to the other top teams somehow means less because they're Iowa?

Project much? For being undefeated you guys sure are defensive.

What I'm saying is every other team listed will be tested by many quality teams. Iowa will just have to beat one, assuming the East doesn't go to ****.

If you're pulling out Cowherd as a champion of your anti-Iowa crusade, I'll chalk that up as a win.

You'll chalk up anything you can as a win. But reality is that your team basically has a one game season now. Get blown out in that game and the rest of the country was right. No amount of message board self promoting, Jon Miller whine/jerk off articles or silly YouTube videos will change that.

Good point. Chalked up 8 out of 8 so far. Indiana is the one I've pegged as a most likely L from the games we have left. Could stumble at Nebby too. I'm sure you'll be pulling for us.

Is the Associated Press part of "the rest of the country"? They're the ones who have us ranked #10.

3 weeks later and your level of not caring is still at never before seen levels.

Do you have eyes? If Iowa was dominating opponents I think America would care a little more about them

Are you not Iowa? It's not my fault the ultimate tavernhok is the voice of the fanbase.

I've already said JM's a tool and that article was stupid. And apparently going first-person plural when talking about your team is frowned upon here. So no, I'm not Iowa.
