I mean, do people really not know the difference between a reporter and the publisher of a message board? Most of the time they're two completely different jobs because there's a fine line to walk. CW does, and he does it well. That's why we like him so much. And to say he's always all sunshine and rainbows about ISU's situation, I mean, that tells me that you or whoever wrote that article don't read his columns or listen to his postgame show, or have a clue in general.

Is there a difference between a big cyclone fan and a tavern hawk? Most of you would fall in both categories as much as you discuss Iowa here.

I don't wander around in the Rivals forum much so forgive me if this has been asked and answered too many times already, but who is bolts? From the ashes of which banned account did this phoenix rise?

35, that's thirty-five, pages of crying over a stupid a$$ed article written by a tavern-hokk trnsplant.

Know what else Iowa doens't care about? In-state rivals (us) whining about an article written by a tavern-hok transplant.

Hey America; ISU doesn't care that you don't care about Iowa, state of or University of.
 
Gameday consensus seems to be: If they go 13-0 they're in the CFP, but "their schedule's so weak" and "they're being compared to unranked teams" right now, and they are likely overrated right now. Something about their FPI being in the 30's.

The Bear mentions that Iowa could go to the B1G title game and not have played a team ranked at that point
 
It's funny to go to Jon Miller's Twitter account and check his mentions regarding this Gameday segment. Lots of people who probably shared the article this thread is about - the one about not caring - who really seem to care an awful lot what Gameday is saying today
 
Just saw a wide shot of the game......hundreds if not a couple of thousand empty seats in the end zone sections. Doesn't look like a sellout. Or is this the trademarked "sell out status" the Iowa athletic department is known for....?
 
Some media rube once wrote "Historic" Kinnick stadium, and it stuck. Iowo fans and their media pat themselves on the back more than any college program......

like claiming Tom Brokaw an esteemed "alum' when he actually was a drunk in IC and crashed and burned after his frosh year

and George Wine (RIP)--at the time the old retired senile coot and ex-Iowa sports Info director who SOMEHOW was allowed a vote in the BCS poll despite hardly watching football, and was in a retirement facility, punished Okie St in Dec 2011 because nobody losing to Iowa State-- deserves anything
