Random Thoughts V

We walked to our friend's home and she had a special treat, bag, and toy for Z. : ) We had a great time visiting and Z was brave enough to try and push the dog toys to them over the baby gate. The dogs were just watching her.

I enjoyed seeing the many different costumes. Mainly blue princesses, turtle ninjas, and few witches/ghosts/pirates.

None of them told jokes that I heard.
 
So I was on YouTube, looking for "spooky" things since Halloween is tomorrow. I find these "scary story" videos. Some aren't awful. They recommend Reddit though. I've never used Reddit. It's kind of a cluster **** if you don't know what you're doing. Anyway, I'm reading some submissions. Some are alright, most you can tell are made up stories from 13 year olds. One person suggests 4chan. "Ok," I think. "I'm pretty sure that's just like Reddit is." So I go to 4chan. I can't unsee what I've seen. I almost feel like I should burn my laptop after that brief appearance. How on earth has the FBI not shut down that entire website already?

The only reason I can come up with is that would drive them underground. Here you can monitor them and when someone goes to far, you can take them out. Or at least, that's what I wish was the case.
 
isn't 4chan where the Oregon shooter was posting? It's also where the Fappening stemmed from. They are pretty sleazy over there.


I like Reddit. Lots of different areas to read.

I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm not naive. I'm fully aware that terrible things are on the internet. And it's not like this is deep web stuff.

I suppose most of it is technically legal. There wasn't kiddie porn, but definitely naked/revenge pictures of girls that were very questionable of if they're 18.

I guess the rest of the stuff I saw could technically be legal. Cartoon/Hentai porn that depicted very young kids, but I guess maybe since they're just drawings and not real, it's legal? Lots of people into transsexual stuff there. Some furry stuff. Some incest stuff. And then the ocassional actual useful thread that would pop up from time to time.

I love psychology and sociology. While I'm not a fan, I understand that there are fetishes for everyone, and that people can't help their fetishes, only can suppress them. But man, that even made my non-existent, black heart cry.
 
Started a fire in the pit. Was stupid and grabbed the cover while it was hot and burnt my fingers. Holding a beer seemail to help.

I think I'd heard of it because of the Fappening. I'm pretty sure they were originally released there.

Lots of people saying "I'm depressed" and then people telling them to kill themselves and stuff. McTall's entire work day with the Feds probably involves watching that place.

Yeah, most of it is. Depending on the jurisdiction, the revenge porn now might not be (hopefully that'll change soon so it's illegal everywhere)

Yep. The Oregon shooter was posting there and the pieces of human refuse posting there were giving him ideas on how to carry out his plan and kill people effectively.

But let's also admit, if you're posting that on 4chan, you already know exactly what you're going to do. You're just posting it to get more attention.
