Tailgating. Iowa wrestling against Cowpokes at Kinnick that day. Night game. Nike pro combat blackout unis. Floyd. The nation's eyes on Historic Kinnick and the Hawkeyes.

I don't get why people focus on who Iowa still has to play, who has Ohio St played? Hawks have played a better schedule so far than tOSU. I'm not saying Iowa > than tOSU but why do they get a free pass for playing no one, its not like they have looked dominant.
Umm....Ohio St doesn't get a free pass. They'll be tested.
Iowa will not. Obviously when people talk about Iowa's schedule it's the entire season. Not only games so far.
Here's my take on Iowa fans over the last 2 years.
Prior to last year..."with this schedule we should get 9 or 10 wins."
After last year..."7-5 with this schedule is unacceptable."
Prior to this year..."with this schedule we should get 9 or 10 wins."
Midpoint this year..."I don't want to hear about this schedule being weak. You are all just jealous or insecure."
Nobody's attitude has changed on the difficulty of the schedule except Iowa fans. For example' if Iowa was...
0-7..."with this schedule blah blah."
1-6..."with this schedule..."
2-5..."with this schedule..."
3-4..."with this schedule..."
4-3..."with this schedule..."
5-2..."with this schedule we should be 6-1 or undefeated..."
6-1..."with this schedule that 1 loss is gonna kill our chances..."
7-0..."nothing wrong with the schedule you Hawkeye hater..."
Emotions can play a role on both sides of the argument. But, most of the fans on here have maintained the same arguments (ones that Iowa fans openly admitted to until the last month) which are valid. Don't let emotions cloud judgments that, under unbiased conditions, align with what most of us are saying. 7-0 is not easy, but "with this schedule" it makes it more doable. That is all most of us are implying.

I know it's a rivalry but I cant wait for the day when Iowa is attacking everything about our program because we're so good and Iowa sucks.

And I think they still haven't beaten anybody with a winning record. This is one of the Hawks signature wins they point to.
