All of the Bode stuff makes me wonder what the obscene Thujone and his infamous MS Paint jabs would do with an image of Bode.

Our main level toilet was making a whistling sound as it completed the task of refilling the tank. I replaced the fill valve and it eliminated the sound. However, when I reconnected the water line I have found that there is a small leak where the water line connector connects to the valve. I tried some plumber's tape but that just caused the leak to move from the upper part of the connector to the lower part. Is my problem a bad washer at the end of the connector pipe? Anybody a plumbing experts here?

Bad night for sleep last night. When I settled down and just before I was out, "mom......mom.....MOM!"

I have not idea what was waking her up, but it took a bit to calm her down and get to sleep. She woke up one more time as well. Thankfully, that time was easier to get her to bed.

One of the best things I learned in dad school was to teach my daughter to call out for her mother during the middle of the night.

The good news is that they eventually grow up and stop doing this. Like, when they go to college.
