Different Team with Lanning

SBR looked good against KU and also looked like a pencil thin kid. Lanning made plays against a D with a lot of future NFL guys the past two weeks and looks like possibly the most physically large QB in the conference.

He had a few good games his sophomore year as well, though.

Wasn't aboard the Lanning bandwagon, but I think you got to build off this. Lanning, Thomas, Warren, Lazard. Build off this core.

While it isn't exciting, try going the Collin Klein K State route.

Is it weird that have an odd feeling that Mangino will start SR?

Not entirely. On one side, we have nothing to lose, so start Lanning and see what you have for the future. On the other side, we have nothing to lose and Lanning seems to play pretty well; so let's start Richardson and keep Lanning healthy or next year. Having said that, People seem more subdued about Lanning than they did when Richardson burst onto the scene vs. Kansas. I think that's a good thing.

SIAP, but did anyone notice at the end of the game where CPR just walked by Lanning without even looking at him? Lanning just kind of had a wtf look on his face. I'm guessing Joel isn't a favorite of the coaches.

I just don't see how it isn't Lannings team at this point. Just from watching him play series after series, Lanning throws a better ball. He can throw with touch, he can throw the ball on a rope. His power running gives this team an added weapon that isn't there when Richardson is in the game. I think u have to give this team change as with Baylor and the first half of the TCU game, this team shows they can hang with anyone.

Ya I noticed that. It's obvious that D'Vario and Joel have evil mustaches while SR and Lazard wear the halos.
