Take ISU to cover against Baylor!

Yes, a good forecast for ISU. Unfortunately, Paul Rhoads was in charge for preparations for this game and will have the utlimate say in any adjustments that are made (or not made). Therefore, Baylor will cover regardless of the conditions.

CPR on the coaches show: "We've been practicing indoors all week in preparation for the expected conditions in Waco that Metinka has been relaying to me via land line."

I agree that Baylor will be slowed down in those conditions. Unfortunately I could still see a 49-7 type score.

Not directed at anyone...it's a low bar when ISU seems to rely on pass interference for things like 1st downs (last week) or hope for hurricane-like conditions to help ISU cover a 5 touchdown spread, the 5 TD spread of which was already down there a ways.

When my oldest played middle school football, they lost to their "arch rival" 56-0 in seventh grade. (They considered the other team their arch rival but they were so pathetically bad, I don't think the feeling was mutual.)

But in eighth grade, pouring rain the entire game. Lots of fumbles. With basically the same kids on both teams, they got the old 0-0 tie.

Sure this wasn't ISU-Nebraska between 1995 and 2009?

Granted, Baylor isn't middle school, but maybe it will slow them down at least a little.

You're right, everyone is out-smarting Vegas by thinking the under is a lock because there's a chance of rain in the forecast. I'm sure they NEVER thought of that.

We are so ******* awful I doubt our dumb *** coaches will be able to find the field. Hell CPR is so stupid he will probably drown because he's such a mouth breather he won't be able to get oxygen between all the rain drops. Our kids are so weak and slow it will be amazing if they don't give up 221 and allow the greatest show on turf to take over Ga. Tech's record set in 1916.

Am I doing this right?

If you're going for accuracy you're doing it right.

Not if you're aiming to be funny.

It is so sad that our whole week leading up to a game is discussing if we'll lose by 37 or much more... and how the weather plays a bigger factor than our own coaches. So sad that we're back to the 90's where we have to look for moral victories.

Didn't Baylor play TCU in a heavy rain storm last year? 61-57

Wind is the worst condition to pass in. Rain isn't too bad.

To quote a comedy great:
