How I look at it is the big ten west isn't high ceiling but not a low floor either most of the teams are pretty equal but won't blow you away.. Saying that isu would win more games in the east then west.. Where there is 3 winnable games in Rutgers Indiana and Maryland.. Where the west only has Purdue..

If ISU were in the East one of those teams (RU, IU, UM) would likely be gone, so that'd take away one of those easier games. I also think Illinois, Minnesota, and Purdue would be just as winnable for them in the West most seasons.
Makes sense that Iowa fans keep bringing up the Sagarin ratings to say their schedule isn't that bad but ISU (#71) would have no chance of winning against Minnesota (#67)
Not really butt hurt. Just mild amusement at the perceived situation.
If Iowa goes undefeated and gets shut out than the levels of butt hurt will be tremendous.
Well, the best team in your conference almost lost to them (a team with a real defense), so.....
I listened to some national CFB podcast today...perhaps it was USA today, done by a couple of their writers. They said that if Iowa and Memphis both finish 12-0, Memphis would probably have the better resume.
If a couple writers that don't do any research say something,it must be so. I give. But I'm taking Iowa anyway.
Here's a fun fact: The five remaining teams on Iowa's schedule are a combined 3-20 against Power Five opponents this year.
Two of those three wins are from games between 2 of those teams playing each other (meaning somebody had to win). The third is over powerhouse Wake Forest.

The Iowa media has the Hawk fanbase in a tizzy after they started playing the schedule disrespect card last week. Now that's all I see on social media. No new news there, I just think it's fascinating to watch. The fact of the matter is that not a single team in the country would turn down a chance to play Iowa's schedule, and when it's all said and done Iowa might not have a single win over a top 25 team. If Pitt falls out, and there's a good chance they will, it'll be interesting to see the spin that the eastern Iowa media/fanboys try to put on it then.
7-0 with a tougher SOS than most teams in the top 25. I'll take it. I still think we drop at least one along the way, most likely at Indiana, maybe at Nebby. Either way, fun season for Iowa fans so far.
