I don't think they are better than Iowa because of Rudock but they are better than Iowa and he's pretty much their entire offense. Like Dan said they don't really have a running game to help him out so he's putting the offense on his back

Rudock isn't better than Beathard, people... There's no way. He's competent and that's really it. Michigan's receivers and TE are better playmakers as well, than what Beathard deals with. Rudock fell into a nice situation with Harbaugh as well. Beathard is the more talented QB. we could also talk about Iowa's o-line being completely decimated with injuries.
Ruddock qbr - 62 (50th)
CJB qbr - 74 (26th)
Iowa ranked 12, Michigan ranked 15.
Beathard > Ruddock
Iowa > Michigan

I will give you that Beathard is a better QB than Rudock, but Iowa is not better than Michigan. Iowa would also have at least 2 losses with Michigan's schedule, and Michigan would also be undefeated with Iowa's schedule.
Rudock had a better qbr than Beathard last year and that didn't matter according to Iowa fans. Like others have said Rudock doesn't have a running game to help him either
Neither CyFan nor CyTwins actually think Rudock is better than Beathard. I'm sure they do believe Michigan is better than Iowa, which is something that most computer models would disagree with.
Obviously Iowa has to go 13-0 to make the playoff. Their schedule over the course of the season is very weak. However, a one loss Iowa team is not getting in to the playoff over a one loss traditional power (Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Florida State, Notre Dame, etc.) no matter what their schedule looks like; that's just the way things are. The only issue that Iowa fans have right now is there is no discernible reason for Iowa to be ranked behind teams like Florida State, Stanford, or Notre Dame based on each team's resume at this point in the season. Hell, Iowa just passed Oklahoma State in the rankings this week when Oklahoma State's schedule to this point is far worse than Iowa's.

In other news I will remember to come back and let you know how 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 wins in a season feels like. You're really gonna feel like crap if Iowa goes and wins the Big 10 and goes to the CFP. If that happens you can shut your program down.
