Mike Leach

Can't have a Mike Leach thread without this video!

I'd take Leach. He would bring an exciting offense and would certainly recruit a different type of player we are used to, I wonder if he would be able to get those players to come here.

I see he had a nice loss at home to Portland State to start the year. No thanks. I don't think he'll be able to recruit here like he did at Texas Tech.

So beating the worst Oregon team in a decade means he's done amazing at Wazzu? Worse than that, do people really think ISU > WSU? Lol this thread is stupid.

Are we really impressed with his work at Washington State now?

Are you kidding? When he took over at Washington State, it was as bad as we are. He's up by 30 at halftime today and has some pretty decent wins under his belt -- one of which is Oregon (although he did lose the season opener against an underrated Portland State team).

I'd take him in a heartbeat.

His first 3.5 years at WSU were worse than CPR's here. Hell, they're only marginally better than the last 3.5 years here.

Yeah he makes 2.75 m a year currently. In the relatively easy Pac 12.

Why would he come to the nightmare B12? That too Iowa State.

I would love Mike Leach if he could get a decent DC to come to ISU. It would be so refreshing to see an offense where passes are throw to a WR on the move for a change.

Seeing as they have rebounded nicely after that loss to go 4-1 since, with a win at Oregon (even though they aren't as good as past) I would say he hasn't done a bad job at all. I'm not a Leach fan for ISU though, I still think a power run or option attack would be the way to go. Keep the defenses of the Big12 off balance having to prepare for that once a year. A big, mauling line against the smaller, faster defenses in the conference could be what it takes.
