2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

I don't know. Gates has always been one of Rivers' favorite targets. If anyone gets consistent targets week to week, it might be him.

Olsen is going against the Seattle D, which hasn't been as good as in previous years, but is still good.

It's a good problem to have with both of them on your team. Both should be good this week.

If Reich goes away from Gates he may be run out of town. People already think he's the league's worst playcaller. Gates is rivers security blanket. I'd go Gates.

Look who the Lions have played so far. Some of the best defenses in the league. Of course it's going to be tougher sledding against Seattle, Zona, Denver, etc. Their schedule lightens way, way up for the next several weeks. I'd guess his numbers go up considerably. Classic case of the other guy selling low on Johnson. Not smart.

Unless I had Brady or Rodgers, I would easily trade Johnson for Dalton. He's been a damn stud.

So is Sankey. And Miami's pass D is worse than their run D. I'd go David Johnson out of those 4 options.

The Steelers are allowing the 2nd fewest fantasy points to runningbacks in the league. Sankey's matchup is way better. Neither option is a good option but Sankey has the better matchup by far.

With Charles going down & Ellington not getting his job back, what used to be a strength of my team is now a liability. Need to start at least 1 of these guys, not PPR:

Ellington
Sankey
Knile Davis
David Johnson

Could use 2 of them, but currently have 1 of Mike Wallace/Hankerson/Doug Baldwin at flex.

Johnson & Wallace.

I'd go Johnson.

Miami's rush defense is horrible.

Johnson is probably most talented, but last week he had a whopping 3 carries for 6 yards... Yes, they were at the goal line & he managed 2 TD's, but that can't be counted on, can it?

Ellington also only had 3 carries, but all of his 63 positive yards came on 1 4th quarter touchdown run.

Sankey is part of a 3-headed 'monster' attack featuring Dexter McCluster & Antonio Andrews. Sankey did start last week, but only had 7 carries, 3 catches, & a total of 43 yards.

I'm not really sure how or why Knile Davis seems to be an afterthought in KC all the sudden, but don't really feel comfortable starting him before knowing how they'll use him either.

Long story short, I just get to decide which turd sandwich will taste best this weekend.

Did I hear something about Julio Jones having an effort problem in the last game? Is there something going on with this team?

If Julio has an effort problem it's cause he tries too hard and takes too many hits.

What? No. Jones is dinged up with toe and hamstring problems but he's trying to play through them. And after his monster start teams have focused more coverage on him; that's a huge part of how Devonta Freeman has been able to go off the last few games.

I don't know what to do with Hill. Another sub 3 point performance last week.

Yeah, I'm a frustrated Hill owner too. It seems like he's only going to get touches if they're sitting on a lead, so I've just decided that for now unless the Bengals are playing a game I think they can control fairly easily then he goes to the bench. I have him on my bench this week because I think the Bills are going to give the Bengals all they can handle. Hate to do it because I burned a second round pick on the guy, but sometimes the early picks just don't pan out. Happens every year.

Yep. I'm pretty sure I'll be benching him. Of course he'll have another three touchdowns and I'll hear about benching him again.

You shouldn't this time around. Stud players aren't a weekly boom or bust proposition like he's turned into.

I took Montee Ball with my #1 pick last year. Bust of all busts. That's why I couldn't believe all the preseason hype for CJ Anderson this year. Some guys had him as a top-3 RB. I'll always make sure to take someone who's proven himself over the course of a few seasons at least instead of speculation or even 6-8 good games. Not with my top picks.
