haha we'll see. If things go well I might ask a girl to get coffee this week. Hopefully it turns out better than the last time I asked a girl to dinner.
We were kind of friends so she thought I meant grab dinner as friends, I had to tell her that wasn't what I meant, she said yes, but then realized she had panicked and was not looking for a boyfriend and so had to tell me that she was flattered, but no thanks.
speaking of standards, I dreamed about you last night, Woo.
We were at the same grocery store and you recognized me after I looked at you and wasn't quite sure I knew you or not. Then we continued our separate grocery shopping.

It turned out for the best because I ended up meeting my next gf a week or two later. And I didn't want to be stuck anymore. I wanted to be friends or date, but I just wanted to know. I did the "wait and don't ask" thing way too much in middle and high schoolYour mistake there was that you clarified that. Let them think it's as friends. If you're good enough, you can change their minds. **** the friend zone.

and isn't the problem that there's no ******* in the friend zone? :twitcy:
Researching washers this morning is making my head spin (get it?). Ugh, I hate major purchases.
Will probably take the 2 youngest to volleyball this afternoon. Oldest has 4 softball games (hence the 5am wake up call to get them on the road). Next oldest will be a game helper, and the game falls after naptime. I'm sure the first thing they will do when they walk in the door to Hilton is ask for ice cream.
are you making any progress on the research? While it's nice that we were getting all new appliances........having to pick and research them all at once was mentally draining!

Asked a girl to go on a lunch date with me a couple of weeks ago. Cancelled the morning of, then quit talking to me about a day or two later.
I mean, part of it's that I'm in law school (and so around a lot of people my own age) and I'm also an optimist.
But there's other reasons for hope! I don't know if you've seen the tv show baggage, but it's an incredible dating show hosted by Jerry Springer where three people go on, share embarrassing facts about themselves and one of them wins a date with someone who also has a major piece of baggage. There's also a student in my year (we'll call him Gunner), who I'm pretty sure everyone who has classes with him hates (and we've only had three weeks of classes). He has a girlfriend. If the people on baggage can find dates and Gunner can get a girlfriend. You and I can get girlfriends!
plus you're going to be a lawyer and 2015 is whatever he is. The ladies like when guys have strong careers. So it'll happen.

I think she's looking for her parents? (thought I remembered "her parents can't internet" was related to appliances)

Hard to get? Gotta dig it.
Hard to get shouldn't equal I'm not going to talk to you anymore.
