Premier League

Arsenal doing nothing is a surprise. Like Liverpool, there are missing pieces for a title run.

There is no title run in Liverpool, not this year. If they can figure out how to score through someone other than Couthino, they may have a shot at the top 4. If not, we are looking at 6th place.

Agreed. Arsenal are in better shape to contend but neither them nor Liverpool will do so this year.

I've really been enjoying watching the EPL this year so far. I've never really watched it before, because I didn't know how or where. Plus, the early times and I never cared enough to look it up. Just plain laziness I guess. Either way, I'm really liking it now. Although I still need to pick a team to follow. I've watched Everton a little bit with Tim Howard being there. Also, I happened on a Bournemouth game and heard they're newly promoted so I've followed them some too to see how that works out. I like the idea of promotion/relegation.

Anyway, after that little rant the main thing I wanted to bring up is I found an app that made it really easy for me to follow the time/tv schedule for domestic and international leagues including MLS and EPL. It's called "Live Soccer TV" LINK and I have it for android. It shows the schedule for most leagues worldwide and where you can watch it on TV in the US if it's available. It also has some organizational capabilities to prioritize what leagues are visible and the order they're displayed in. Now I just pull it up everyday and see what matches are coming up the next few days. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case someone else might find it useful. Any other schedule/news apps that people swear by for Futbol news?

So Wenger knew last week that Welbeck would be out for an extended amount of time, but still did not buy a striker. How ******* stupid could you be. I've never seen anyone more stubborn than this *******

Two injuries away from Walcott and Arteta being starters...lol. Arsenal also needs to stop playing Ramsey on the wing and play Ox there. Having Cazorla, Ozil, and Ramsey playing with Giroud is terrible. Not enough goal scorers in our team. It's sad when Own Goal is the leader is goals scored so far.

Impressive take. Some proper Arsenal fans on this board. I'm pleasantly surprised. You guys should come to the game watches at Keg Stand! We're building a decent group there.

I think there were definitely defensive mids who were available and could have improved the squad. Striker? not so sure..

Yes I agree with both statements, but Wenger had all god damn summer to get something done. You put yourself in a situation where you don't have to be scrambling to buy a quality striker right before the deadline.

I think if Benzema or Cavani were truly available, ManU would have doubled any wage offer Arsenal could have offered and they'd be playing there. That ManU took such an expensive gamble on a 19-yr-old tells me alot about the lack of quality forwards truly available.

However, my opinion did waver a bit after the Welbeck news. Joel Campbell is now the most natural #9 in the squad after Giroud. Alexis and Theo down the middle are a square peg in a round hole as a lone striker.

Let me check and get back to you. I think it's open to everyone at that time of morning.

If Giroud goes down we're in trouble, Campbell is the next logical replacement, and while I think he's a capable player he's not even at Giroud's level who himself isn't world class. I do think that Giroud gets unnecessarily **** on a lot of times, I think he's not good enough to be our only option at striker, but his work rate is fantastic and he scores a respectable amount of goals.

In perhaps the years most "who gives a **** post" I just wanted to let you guys know I am going to support Swansea City. Now, where can I get myself a jersey?

I've caught a bit of a couple of their games. They seem to play fast and aggressive. And I saw their documentary on NBC a few weeks ago about the scumbag that used to own the club or whatever. Seems like a real d bag. It was an interesting story.

Plus their logo reminds me of the Schwanns man. A company that delivers ice cream and pizza rolls to your door?? I'm in!

we just meet for the Arsenal games. Keg Stand opens for us even if it's a 6:45AM kickoff.

Also, I checked and unfortunately it seems that it is indeed 21+ even in the morning.
