And you cannot spell "sucks" without KSU! I wouldn't be surprised if Horne ultimately chooses the Mildcats so he can eventually play for Brad Underwood in 2016-17.

This. If a basketball player chooses their school based on how the football team did, I'd question their decision making big time.

A fun atmosphere can be a plus, but it won't be a negative.

Good but I hope we get Simpson just bc he is a potential 4 yr guy rather than 2 yr. But if that falls through bring on Strong! Solid player with great skills and Iowa St ties

I personally think they're pretty different players with similar body types. Young is more of a bull, raw energy guy. Horne is a little more refined offensively without the athleticism.

He definitely has that ability, just not sure how much offense he'll be able to create by himself, at least early in his career.

Very happy to have Young here, just making the case that they are different types of players and that we could've had room for both of them IMO.
