Baylor and TCU (as well as other private schools) are able to operate outside the system that all public universities are "confined" by. Private schools aren't subjected to Freedom of Information Act requests, which allows them to shrug off accusations that could pretty easily be proven elsewhere. While everybody across the state of TX knows both TCU and BU are cheating, good luck ever proving it; unless you can pay a player more money to admit it than they were paid to play there.

Yep, Baylor and TCU have joined the ranks of private school monsters Vanderbilt and Northwestern. This private school advantage theory belongs with the tin-hat folks.

How is it a tin-hat thing, a private school that doesn't have to obey open records laws can easily hide things that public schools can't. No tinfoil hat needed because it is a fact.

If this happened at a Public School the press would be hitting them up for every email and telephone record there was and they would have to release it, but because it is a private school they don't have to release that information.
