Recruit Lists v2.0

There is an article from a week or two ago where Cook states that he has an idea of where he wants to go already, he just wants to take some time to be 100% sure. Furthermore, Iowa stopped recruiting Dylan Painter (who just picked up a Villanova offer) about a week ago; Painter said Iowa told him they were full at the forward spot, despite the fact that Iowa is looking to sign multiple bigs this class. That is part of the reason why Iowa fans feel so good about Cook.

Link? There was speculation but the article i read he never said that. They asked but he didn't confirm.

Apologies if my statement was misleading, but I was going off remembrance, and the reporter certainly insinuated that Cook has a clear favorite.

Also, the Dylan Painter article is premium content from Rob Howe.

Regardless, just sharing why Iowa fans are so confident despite ISU fans being so dismissive of them. Not trying to troll, but the fact that Cook likely has a favorite already probably doesn't bode well for Iowa State with the whole coaching switch.

If I had to guess the favorite would be Mizzou. Trying to think like an EIU fan is hard though....

I'm not sold on Iowa pulling in a 4* recruit that doesn't have ties to them. I guess we'll see, but I think he is Mizzou bound.

Mizzou is a total train wreck right now. If he goes there, he has to be a super fan (doubtful out of St. Louis), or he knows they will go after a big name coach next year.

I would say it's a courtesy to keep them in the mix.

Mizzou fans seem to be very skeptical about their chances to land Cook. They have put out several new offers to bigs over the last several weeks. Not to mention their program is a bit of a mess right now....

So true. Good to see.

Why would he keep them in his top schools as a courtesy? I mean he's from St. Louis. St. Louis folks don't care about Mizzou apparently.

It happens all the time. Anyway, I would say he would have to he a huge fan or legacy to be serious about Mizzou
